We are a team of HVAC Designers and Building Science specialists with a passion for creating comfortable and energy-efficient homes. We serve clients throughout the province of Ontario, providing HVAC design for new construction and renovation projects.
As a remote-based company, we are able to work with clients all across the province, offering the same level of service and expertise as a local firm. We believe in the power of technology to connect us, and make possible the ability to provide top-quality HVAC design services, no matter where our clients are located.

Curtis Saltzberry is the principal designer at Saltzberry Design and the holder of BCIN #31364 (Building Services), registered with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Ontario.
With 23 years in the Ontario construction industry — including project management, material estimation, and engineered wood product design — Curtis brings a trade-floor understanding to every permit package. That background means fewer surprises at inspection and drawings that reflect how buildings are actually built.
Curtis holds HRAI certification #7515 as a Residential Air Supply Design Technician (RASDT), and all HVAC designs are completed using methods and procedures as described by HRAI, in accordance with the Ontario Building Code.
All drawings produced by Saltzberry Design carry BCIN #31364 stamp and are accepted province-wide by Ontario municipalities.

With experience in previously designing engineered wood products, we have a deep understanding of the unique properties and performance characteristics of these materials, and we know how to design HVAC systems that will work effectively with these systems.
Our team has a rich background in the trades, with many of our employees having got their start onsite. This hands-on experience allows us to bring a practical, real-world perspective to our designs, and ensures that our clients receive the best care possible.

We commit time for clients. Weekly Design Time is allocated to help you rescue your projects that have fallen behind schedule, that need the additional focus that our design team can provide . Our expedited service helps you submit faster, start sooner, and get things accomplished. Our business operates with this in mind.
No sales pressure. Our commitment is to the Customer.
We're not interested in selling or installing you your HVAC System. We're not interested in upgrading your hot water tank, or offering 37 equal payments at some interest rate. We strive to produce timely, accurate, and concise design and documentation.
Commitment to Communication.
A growing and busy business is no excuse for a lack of communication. We're working hard to honour our clients preferred choice and promptness of response. Our intent is to operate our business in a clear and transparent manner.
Life is still messy, things happen, but we're still here to help.
We make mistakes just like everyone else. However we're constantly learning and adapting to prevent problems and issues from arising.
