SALTZBERRY DESIGN - FAQ

Q: When will my designs arrive?

A: Delivery is dependent on: the package purchased, the completeness and promptness of your submission, and our current workload. Note not all Expedited Designs and 2-Day requests are granted. Billing will reflect time delivered, not requested.

Standard Design are delivered in five (5) Business  Days or more.
Expedited Design are returned in three (3) Business Days

2 Day Designs are returned in two (2) Business days

Submissions made after 10 am will be entered into the schedule on (and be measured from) the next business day. Incomplete submissions, plans lacking required architectural details and information may be delayed indefinitely. Ontario Schedule 1 will only be issued upon completed payment.

 

Q: What format are the completed designs delivered?

A: Saltzberry Design provides completed designs in pdf. All designs are returned electronically via email.

 

Q: What happens if my designs arrive later then requested?

A:  Delivery dates are regretfully not guaranteed. The design will be billed at the next Design Package Service Level. This isn't a Pizza. Parties submitting a design will be responsible for Standard Design fees and for any additional services delivered.

 

Q: How do I make a design submission?

A: Submissions can be made via the ORDER Button, or via email. Emailed submissions may require additional information requests (by Saltzberry Design). No designs will go into production until the submission of information is complete.

 

Q: What do I need to make a design submission?

A: Submissions required completed architectural plans, contact information, project information, design package and any additional service selections.

 

Q: What can I do to ensure prompt delivery?

A:  Submitting via the LINK, with complete and accurate info creates the best user experience. Pre-payment of design services in advance would also ensure all documents will be delivered upon completion. 

 

Q: What areas does Saltzberry Design work?

A: Saltzberry Design is qualified and registered to work across the Province of Ontario

 

Q: Can you do design work in other provinces or countries?

A: Unfortunately Saltzberry Design works in the province of Ontario at this time. 

 

Q: Where can I see the status of my order?

A: Unfortunately Saltzberry Design does not yet provide automated status updates. If you have questions or concerns about the status of your design feel free to contact us.

 

Q: How do I cancel my order?

A: If an order has yet to go into production, you may cancel your order by contacting Saltzberry Design. Orders in production may be cancelled at the discretion of Saltzberry Design, after a written receipt of cancellation request is received, you will be issues a written confirmation of the terms of cancellation, which may include partial of full invoicing of services as determined by Saltzberry Design.

 

Q: What do I do if I need changes to a completed design?

A: Changes required by Code Authority comment, OBC/HRAI Compliance will be evaluated by Saltzberry Design and often completed free of charge. Minor changes to layout are at the discretion of Saltzberry Design. Changes including (but not limited to) requests because of: installation errors, plan revisions, as built conditions or other issues will be considered on a cause by cause basis. Please contact us, we'll do our best to work out a reasonable and fair solution for all parties.
